Weddings & Events is my passion - here's my little 'Love Story' to help you decide if I'm the right fit to help you write yours!

My love for Event Planning started way back during my uni days in Exeter. I was always organising some kind of get-together or social event for my year group, with each event inevitably ending up with a few beers down the pub!

Fast forward 20 years or so - I still love a nice cold beer and (fortunately), I still love organising events, having now spent the best part of 18 years self-employed as a professional Event Organiser, working in the wonderful world of weddings.

My events experience isn't limited to weddings, however. Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of organising prestigious Business Exhibitions, Awards Dinners and various Networking Events - I love working with other businesses and know how important it is to ensure events run to schedule and are always a huge success.

Love That Wedding! was born out of a combined love for Event Organising and Weddings.

Having started out organising some of the most popular wedding shows across Wiltshire and Dorset, this led me to coordinating all weddings at a beautiful boutique Country House venue near Salisbury, and eventually to helping even more couples by coordinating their weddings, wherever they’re getting married.

With all that hands-on experience, you can rest easy knowing your big day is in the safest hands. I genuinely want you to have the best day ever, and I'm here to make sure it is everything you've dreamed of (and more)—smooth, stress-free, and full of unforgettable moments. You can count on me to handle all the details, so you can just relax and enjoy the magic of the day.

Bonus! My extensive experience comes with an amazing network of top-tier wedding suppliers, so if you are looking for recommendations, I’ve got you covered. I’ll happily point you towards some of the best in the business!

One of my lovely wedding photographer friends paid me the biggest compliment recently, when she said "you're the most unflappable wedding coordinator I know!". Yeah, flapping is not my style. No-one needs that kind of stress (or drama) - it doesn't achieve anything.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT WEDDINGS

I’m a total people person! Honestly, what I’m most excited about is getting to meet you and your gorgeous guests. I love a good chat, so don’t be surprised if I’m having a little natter with your loved ones between tasks—it’s all part of the fun! Couples (and guests) often say how relaxed they felt on the day, and I love helping to create that vibe. Weddings are where strangers become friends and happy, chilled couples and wedding guests means only one thing—an amazing day!
I’ll admit, I am quite the perfectionist (and hey, it comes in handy!), but honestly, there’s nothing better than seeing everything come together perfectly. All that planning, and then—boom! We nailed it. Your big day is such a huge milestone, and I just want to make sure it’s as amazing as it can be for you.
Oh, and I absolutely LOVE people-watching! So, weddings are basically the perfect opportunity to indulge in one of my favourite pastimes, whilst making sure everything's running smoothly.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

I live in Salisbury and feel super lucky to have all my family close by. We’re a close-knit bunch and love a good laugh!
I’m a proud Aunty to four amazing kids - two big, two little. I absolutely adore them! I studied German at Uni, and my youngest niece (aged 7) is keen to follow in my footsteps, so when I’m not planning weddings, I’m probably planning a lesson or two!
I’m a total foodie—getting together with family and friends and sharing a big, delicious feast is one of my favourite things. Don’t even ask me what my favourite food is, because I could never pick just one! Favourite cocktail however? Martinis - the Pornstar and Espresso kind!
I still love a good night out with the girls but the 3am finishes are a thing of the past. These days we prefer to start the party early and be tucked up in bed by midnight!
City breaks are my thing—I’m always up for a quick trip to London or Bath, or even jetting off to Europe for a weekend away. I recently went to Lisbon for the first time and wow, what an amazing place! Highly recommend a visit.
Comedy nights, music gigs, cinema and the occasional theatre trips - those all float my boat!
... and when I’m not doing all of that, I’m busy 'cultivating' my ever-growing collection of houseplants, trying my best not to kill them. Slowly but surely, I’m getting there! Tips always gratefully received.

I’ll be there with friendly support and advice throughout your planning, and on the big day, I’ll be that cool, calm presence making sure everything goes to plan. You will NEVER see me in flap!
